I have pretty much given up on guitar. not my instrument anymore.
I'm thinking of saving up for a second 5 string, and a really bitching one at that. the Stringray has caught my eye because Rex Brown's tone is the mutt's nutts, and I've heard great sounds from bass players who use the same instrument or pickup.
At the same time, the Warwick Corvette$$ looks sweet too...I think it uses the same MM style PUs right?
And the choice of woods really sparks my interest. Never heard it, but I like the sound of Warwicks nowadays. Even though I used to do it fingerstyle, I used to hate the warwick sound, but now that I use a pick, I predict one would sound very good in my hands ven if it were made of some dark mahogany style wood...
So give me your opinions please.. and reccomend some other stuff in the same price range.. ESP, GnL, Ibanez, schecter look cool as well
