Q: Which size of strings are better for playing Led Zeppelin or Metallica?

Purely a personal preferance. Jimmy Page used 8's IIRC, and Metallica uses 10's.

Don't worry about the gauge of strings that other people use. Use the gauge and brand that allows you to play the way you want to.

yup blu's got it right, find what you like. metallica uses all steel strings where page uses nickel plated strings.
try as many as you can and see what you like best
