I picked up a timeline yesterday. I haven’t really had a chance to mess with it yet. So I was wondering what people that own one think about them. And are there any tips i need to know? So far the only downsides I have noticed is having to update over midi and having to use 2 switches at the same time to scroll up or down the presets. Also I have a way huge echo puss that I have been using. Is there any reason to keep it on my board? I always liked having a digital and an analog delay. But is the time line that good to replace it?

Great pedal of course. I always do one of two things on the advanced type pedals. I either read the manual and get familiar or I just dive in and start messing and see what I discover. Both things typically end up happening though the order may vary based on inspiration and mood. The way around the navigational issue is using a switcher but you may or may not have a need for that. The Echo Puss is a cool pedal, I would keep it but I keep most things I buy. May be good to have around for something similar or to build an alternate board or something. The Timeline is a phenomenal pedal. The pedal game the last few years has really advanced. Strymon set a very high bar that others are after and some would say have been surpassed. Regardless of position, it is a great time to be a guitar player and you have an awesome delay. Enjoy it!
