Studio Moniters

not sure where this should go, but what studio moniters do you suggest, I would like to stay below 200, I have really been getting into recording latley. And I think I might be getting the Line6's riftworks software.


I just have decide against home studio or a Mesa F-30

Unless you can find a good used pair of Alesis mk-II's or KRK rokit 5's, I wouldn't even bother trying to find them for under 200. You really get what you pay for as far as studio monitors and a decent pair will cost 300-400 new. So I would save your money until you could put more into it, I think you'd be happier in the long run.

i just bought a 'good enough' set of roland DM-10s ... powered, but maybe not quite enough ... digital input too, which is kinda cool ... these are strictly 'home hobbyist' quality only .. but for $145 they were just the ticket


they make some bigger/more powerful ones too (30s?) that were more than i wanted to spend

nEar 05's $200.00 these are good monitors at this price.

i got a killer deal on krk rokit 5's, got a pair for 200 on ebay, i think it actually came to 215 with shipping, but still.....

ive got the krk rokits... they are good. id reccomend them.

Sorry, never tried anything at that price range, though you could probably get something really nice if you don't mind buying used.

well, lol, when i use them ill tell ya (lol, yea, this weekend im gonna read the friggin 200 page manuel for my yamaha aw16g and learn how to use it). then ill record something with my drummer prob the weekend after that (we got a bunch of my songs to do...). ill let ya know within 2 weeks....lol...sorry for the wait....lol

and foamey, hopeuflly u like the new stuff, i know u didnt dig the old stuff very much....
