stupid question.

ok im smart enough to not put an instrument cable into my amp to cab but what cable do i get? i figure a speaker cable but what gauge? i have an orange micro dark 20w goin into a 1x8 at 8 ohms(was gonna get a peavy 1x12 but sound an space options currently and by the time ill have space/sound for a 1x12 ill have space/sound for a 4x12)

Any 1/4 to 1/4 speaker cable will work. I use the guitar center/ musicians friend "Musicians Gear 12-Guage Speaker Cable".

That will work fine for your situation if 3 feet is long enough. If you are going to need a longer cable or use a higher wattage amp, I would go for the heavier cable.
