Subscriptions disabled?

Is it just me, or is the option to subscribe to threads (and view them on one page) generally disabled in this forum?

You can go to your "User CP" at the top left and enable it.

Thanks for your reply, but trying to actually view my subscribed threads with any option always results in this message, although I do see this thread as "subscribed" in the control panel now (the first one of those in which I posted already):

hans-jürgen, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Maybe viewing the subscriptions only works after more postings than mine? Wouldn't make any sense either though... By the way, "instant email notification" doesn't work either, I never got a reply notification from here yet.
