Successful 59 surgery

Re: Successful 59 surgery

Biggest deal is better balanced for me. There felt like a bigger jump from bass to treble pickup with the stock pair.
Little clearer neck with a bit more chime
Bridge is smoother with better low end (A3 though)
The dgt are 7.3 and 9.0k
The 59s I have read 7.6ish and 8.33

Wow, that is a cool project and one beautiful guitar! Congrats!

Re: Successful 59 surgery

Man I'm loving the A3 59 bridge...still has a full low end and nice highs without being strident, but a better mid character.
Handling the direct marshall tones, and the pedalboard rig very well.

Can't give a thumbs up higher to that mod. I think I'd done it years ago in a Burny LP clone but I"m more a PRS Style guy, this is really hitting on all cylinders for me.
