Suggestions for a push-push mod

I have modded my Lone Star Strat to be an Elite strat with P-rail as humbucker (I added the S-1 and the 3 capacitors). I got rid of the push-push button and changed it to an on-off-on toggle that functions as a coil split that allows for 1) Slug only, 2) Full humbucker, 3) Rail only.

Trouble is, I had initially put it in the same spot as the Elite push-push between and slightly below the tone knobs, but that was impossible to work the toggle in that position, so I drilled a new hole between volume and postion 5 end of the 5 way super switch.

Now I have this empty hole that is begging for a push-push (I do have a 6 lug push-push that I can use (is that still dpdt if its a push push?)).

Since the S-1 and the 5 way super switch do some series/parallel options, I'm thinking of trying to add an in-phase/out-of-phase push-push, but I am not certain about the wiring of this, or if the sound difference is even worth it.

So, I am enjoying learning this stuff, and I do have that hole to fill (I could just tape over it too); are there other push-push options that would be more worthwhile? I'm happy with what I have, so just taping over it is fine (to keep the dust out).

Ideas?

Re: Suggestions for a push-push mod

I’m actually liking the push-push as a blower switch, full Humbucker straight to the jack. No matter what crazy setting you are on with tone and volume dialed back, you push it for the screaming lead.

what do you think about the idea of a blower switch, a blower switch jumps most/all of the wiring and throws the bridge pickup straight to the output jack, so if you have the bridge and middle mixed, or just the neck pickup, and you need to instantly have juice for a solo or some riffs, then you can reaxh to your blower switch, turn it on and keep playing, then you switch it off and you're back at whatever pickup, switch, pot settings you had before.

all you need for a blower switch is a dpdt

Yeah, I suppose I could add that back, although it's not a feature I'd use often

That's exactly what the push-push on an Elite strat does: Sends humbuckers straight to jack--no switches or buttons do anything. It's really not something I need, but I absolutely get the benefit of a blower switch for a lot of folks.
