Suggestions for Humbucker combo. PLEASE HELP

I just bought a squier jagmaster with the intention of modifying it. It has duncan designed pups in it as stock. I am planning on playing through a jcm800 50watt combo. I am trying to get close to a "John Frusciante" tone. Any suggestions for a combo of humbuckers? I was thinking 59's or antiquity's but i really have no clue. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know Fusciante usses singlecoil equiped Fender and Gretch. So, I guess anything close to that would help. Humbuckers aren't the closest thing !!! But if you are going for a humbucker equiped guitar then I'd choose a humbucker with a really good clean and good highs and bass. So the 59 would be better than the antiquity for Fusciante tone.

Yeah, a jaguar / jazzmaster type thing would be better for RHCP stuff with single coils. Also, I'm not sure what amps John used/uses... I'm sure I've heard him talk about fenders...

Mind you, humbuckers are still very good for other kinds of rock - any other influences you'd like to get the sound of?
