Suggestions for replacing stock p'ups on Fender Strat

Picked up a pristine Fender Standard Strat at a yard sale of all places, has no fret wear and luckily has been kept in a hsc so its immaculate and has not been compromised.

She's a Mexi, but for what I paid she is a steal and will serve me well. I will swap out her standard issue electronics and am looking for suggestions on p'ups for her (single coil X3).

A big fan of Seymour Duncans but not sure which to go with and also started to look at Lace Sensors which I know were the rave in Fenders for quite a while but it seems as though there is a love/hate thing in cyber space about their p'ups. Also considering EMG's and open to all other ideas as I will not rush into a decision hastily because the tone out of her is most important to me.

FWIW, the music is alternative, contemporary classic rock with a smidge of blues/funk so it's really all over the map.

Any and all recommendations per your first hand experience and more is greatly appreciated.

For those wanting to know, I got the guitar with the hsc for a hundy. :D

I tried a trio of Lace Sensors in a MIM Stratocaster. (Silver N&C, Light Blue B.) Great with heavy overdrive. No cluck when clean.

I suggest a SD Blackout AS-1 set. These have a jumper connector on the underside to select between two output levels.

What tones do you want to get out of it? A strat can do a little bit of everything. I never liked any of the 3 types of lace sensor pickups I've played.

Primarily a rhythm player with some small lead parts typically in tandem with the lead player so clean with crunch and some "oomph" without compromising clarity when needed and some sustain which can be best augmented by my Compression or OD stomps

Considering the DiMarzio are series, SD YJM pups (although these might be too aggressive?) or maybe even bare knuckles

I got SSL 1s on a strat copy and it does cover a lot of ground. You could probably use a hotter bridge but I cant comment on that much not used any other Duncan single coils. I think sticking to vintage output will help cover more grounds. SSl 1s will work well for classic rock and blues.

I really like the SSL5s. Ive played em clean crunch and high gain. They rocked my world
