Sorry about the mistakes I just learned this song last night.
The backing track is from http://www.freshbt.com just bass, drums and vox on the BT, there is rhythm guitar during the solos and a few little fills here and there but what you hear is MY guitar with the Riot. I overdubbed the harmony solo but I didn't really learn that part very well.

I recorded with an SM57 and a crappy Apex condenser mic into my Apogee Duet and Logic. I'm using a Randall 2x12" with Celestion 70/80's.

Of course I'm using SD AHB 3 Blackout in the bridge

This is the Riot into the clean channel of my OD100 no distortion from the amp JUST the Riot. This is a damn scary pedal!!!

Sounds great , I couldn`t get the Riot to sound right for me but I`m in the minority. Great playing a goofy facial expressions

Great stuff Mark, I always enjoy your videos, playing and facial expressions. Keep up the good work. I found that BT site not too long ago and they have some neat stuff there.

That sounds really good. I like how it gels with the guitar sound, unlike a lot of the "transparent" distortion pedals on the market.

Now, with the nice bitey way you attack the strings you could probably make me want a POD but as it is I'll be putting this on my list of pedals to look into.

please tell me, how loud that was, and, that's a killer 100+ watt head right? what speaker(s) are we hearing, and what mic(s) etc.? nice clean on the amp, and the pedal sounds outta sight. I love that song, too.

I swear it's true..lol. The only Ratt song I knew was Lay It Down. Someone, on Friday afternoon asked me to do the video using Round and Round. So I learned it in the evening and worked on it on Saturday...ask my wife I drove her nuts with it..lol.
Thank God for that Transcribe program I bought...best $50 ever!!

I wanted to nail the solo better, some subtle things in the first part of it..of course I did it fine until I pressed the damn record button :smash:
