Thanks, yes no piezo or build in mic used here, used two mic's, one pointing at the soundhole, the other at the back pointing towards the deck behind the bridge.

Sounds to me like there is some under-saddle transducer blended in. (More wire than wood.) Depends how much EQ was added after the fact, I suppose.

No piezo used.....
A deliberate choice on sound...have heard plenty of warm woody couch guitars...
This thing is made with a spruce top, all solid maple back and sides, ebony fretboard and bridge...it is made like old violins.
And did go for a bright stringy sound....

The Samson gooseneck condenser mic example reminds me of why I sold my Fishman Rare Earth Blend system.
