Sunn model T pics (huge photos warning)

This is 1974 Sunn model T I have had since 1982 when I bought it from the original owner. I am posting pics as a matter of record so that others may see the inner workings of this old Sunn. Without a doubt, some of you guys into amps will gain more insight in mere seconds, than I could digest many months. These may hopefully aid those with burnt/unreadable components.

This amp is loud, but an overdrive pedal is absolutely necessary in my opinion.

I remember those amps well. I tried them out when they first came out. I wished it sounded a little more like a Marshall.

I had no idea they were point to point wired...no circuit board.

Looks like a very high quality amp! I have a bottle full of those maroon colored caps that my brother gave to me. I didn't know Sunn used them.

Thanks for the pics!

Cool pics. I never knew much about that amp other than the fact that there's a band named after the brand. Sunn O))) is actually a doom/drone band that apparently uses the Model T exclusively... anyone else read that Guitar World?

The Model T, and not that Fender junk that everyone calls a reissue, is both one of the greatest and most unknown amps on the face of the earth.
