Found a pair of these pups among my toys.
I thought they were Dimarzios but have found out they aren't.
got them back in the 70's and they were mounted in a Mansefield Tele copy. (not the original pups)
sounded real mean when played through a Marshall amp.
Gold color with "26428" ink stamped on each. (matched pair???)

Any body got any idea what they are and who made them?

Ibanez PAF wind with A8 magnets. Rare pickups, EVH reportedly used them early on.

I've heard them and they're real bright to me, didn't like them.

thanks to all for their replys.
It has been confirmed that they are Ibanez and the s/n states where and when mfg.
I have decided to put them back into the tele copy and present to my 19 yr old son at a later date.
It will be cream white and covered with Toronto Maple Leaf deacls.
(sorry to the Habs/Bruins/etc fans)
I will try to post pics when it is ready.
