Super Crunch Box coming

Anyone following Mi Audio on facebook might have seen them post that they are making a Super Crunch Box.

"Features are: New external Presence control, Lo/Hi Gain switch and diode clipping switch. Also has a voltage doubler that internally converts your 9V battery/DC input to ~18V."

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm excited for this. IMO, the Crunch Box is one of the best distortion pedals out there. Doesn't just add distortion, but it really adds to the overall character and quality of my tone.

Hi/low gain: very useful. There are 100W Superlead sounds in the pedal but they too quickly turn into JCM800 sounds. It'll be nice to have a little more control there.

External presence control: don't see a need for it personally. Once the pedal was dialed into my amp, the tone knob takes care of everything else. But hey, why not?

Voltage doubler: THIS will be interesting. Again this should help the plexi-esque sounds that the pedal can do, should make it more dynamic. One of the best things about the crunch box though, is the syrupy compression of higher gain. So... yeah.

I am quite excited.

This sounds cool. I was already planning on trying out a Crunch Box someday soon, but I figure it's probably worthwhile waiting to try this one out. As long as the raise in price isn't too ridiculous, anyway.

When I read about the Super Crunch Box, I was imagining it as dual pedal, like the Vox Satchurator. That would have been cool, too.

I'm excited. The new boost and buff looks good - sorted that 'it get's very trebley if you turn the knobs too far right' problem.
