Super switch series position 2

I think I'm going to convert my HSS Strat to SSS, with a set of Tex-Mex pickups. My intention is master volume, neck tone, bridge tone, nothing crazy.

The only odd-ball thing I'd like to do is use my Super Switch to have position 2 (bridge & middle) in series rather than parallel. That's the only position on a Strat that I don't use much. I like the HSS, but I prefer the bridge single with the tone rolled back a little. I think position 2 in series would be close enough to a bridge humbucker to satisfy that.

Can I do this while still having position 4 in parallel? Or if I add a mini-switch, can I get traditional Strat wiring, but series 2 & 4 as an option? Either way would be fine.

Re: Super switch series position 2

I'm actually working on something like this myself, a totally different approach as it would react more like a H/H guitar on paper with three hotter than usual single coils I want to get rid of.

This is the closest I've seen to what you're after so far, I'm going to re-check my wiring and see where my afternoon takes me , before that this is the schematic Brejatoneworks came up with, after that is the video with his explanation

It's really nice that you want to help, but that's not even close to what he wants, now is it (Super switch. Position #2 bridge + middle in series)? And you've got the switch positions labeled backwards...(position 1 is bridge, position 5 is neck).
