Surfer pickup heights?

I got the Surfers installed finally and ya'll were right. These are some very fine pickups.

Just for curosity's sake, how did you set the heights?

Hi Jim, With the strings held down at the 21st fret, mine are about 1/16" away on the treble side and about 1/8" away on the bass side. Lew

I start with 3/32" on the treble side, 4/32" on the bass side. On hotter pickups like Texas Specials, I drop 'em another 1/32" or so.
