Surfers with another bridge

Based on sound clips, I really like the Surfers neck and middle but the bridge samples I heard sounded thin. The SSL-5 bridge samples on the other hand sounded amazing and I was wondering if anyone had ever used a set up like that.
Would love to hear any thoughts.

Welcome to the forum! Yeah, the SSL-5 will give a kick to the bridge position, and would be my choice for beefing it up. You will have an beautiful vintage-sounding Strat- that rocks. I think you would be very happy with that combo.

I combine neck and middle position Ant II Surfers with a Twangbanger in the bridge position. (I cannot recall whether this required modifications to the output conductors of the Twangbanger in order to preserve the correct phase relationships.)

The Pearly Gates Plus humbucker also makes a nice match.

The Twangbanger is a great match for the Surfers. There is a thread about wiring that combo up.
