Sustaniac Problems

I bought a synyster gates custom s guitar 2 years ago and everytime i switch the pickup selector to rhythym or middle position, the guitar screams like crazy nonstop. Seymour duncan havent replied to my emails and idk what to do. Any ideas how i could fix it? It happens when i use a high gainy channel but not when i use a clean setting. I tried changing 9V battery but to no avail. I DO NOT HAVE ON THE SUSTANIAC WHEN IT HAPPENS

Welcome to the forum!

It has a Sustainer in there? What other pickups (I think it has an Invader?)? How much gain are you using?

Im assuming its an invader as that comes standard in a Custom S Syn Gates guitar. And i have gain on 5 on a EVH lll on overdrive channel.

Too much preamp gain? Maybe the neck pickup driver is way too close?
