swapping out my neck for something chunky

I have a godin flat 5 thats nice and light, and nicely weight balanced neck-wise.

But i have huge assed hands, and ive found a lutheir nearby who designs some gorgeous big beefy necks.

Im a bit concerned about unbalancing my guitar. Before I ask the lutheir myself, can anyone shed light on:

Whether or not i should be concerned about this? and

What kind of cost ranges should I look at, not considering varying wood costs?

Thankya for your time.

Thicker necks generally yeild a louder tone with a stronger fundamental.

I have no idea what a custom neck runs, but Warmoth & the like can run anywhere from $150 - a few hundred tacos.

Expect a custom neck to run you anywhere from $350+. I have 2 custom necks that are identical to each other and have reverse hockey stick headstocks. When I held the neck prior to installing it, I thought that it would be really top heavy. However, that's not the case! On the guitar they balance really well!
