Switched From Active to Passive, A Lot of Hiss?

I switched the EMGs in my LTD to DMZs, but I have a couple issues. First, all I got was hiss, so I stupidly cut the jumper wire on the 3-way, which I pointed to with a screw driver. I'm hoping that's the only thing wrong there, but I took another close up if anyone can tell me what's wrong there.

Second, I'm getting a lot of hiss through my amp that I usually don't get. The picture of the tremolo claw shows where i think I'm supposed to ground it, but I don't know where to send a ground wire. The picture of the pot also shows where I grounded the pickups, put the little loop won't bend back so I grounded to the pot then sent a wire from the loop to where I grounded. I mainly get hiss in the bridge position, only normal hiss from the neck.

In your first picture it looks like you the black, white, green and bare all soldered to the pots. If I'm seeing that correctly thats wrong. Recheck your wiring. Use duncans wiring diagrams and also the wire color chart to make sure you are using right wire for your dimarzios. You know that the wires are different right? If you think you wiring is correct draw a schematic of it so we can see what you did. Your installation looks pretty good also.

I used a Duncan diagram (HH, 3 way, 2 volumes) but made sure to do the right color codes. I soldered together and taped the Black and White wire together for both pups. At this point I'm lost I'll attempt to draw up a what I did. I'm trying to avoid as much as possible taking it to Guitar Center and paying $70...I'm big on D.I.Y.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but in your very first picture it looks like you have a bare, green, black and white from one pickup soldered to the back of the pot. If I am seeing that correctly then it is wrong. Try posting some more pictures of the whole thing.
