Switching options on an LP-style setup?

Ohter than push/pull pots, are there any other options for installing coil split (or parrallel or whatever) switching in an LP? Allparts.com list a "push/push" pot. What's that? It is similar to the "S1" swithc that Fender has been using for the past couple of years? Are there any Gibson style knobs that even allow for such a thing?

Oh, and I don't really want to go with a rotary switch in place of the 3-way toggle. I'd prefer to keep the looks fairly stock.

the push push switch is a latching switch. push it once and it splits the coils (or whatever its supposed to do) push it again and its back. you use a normal knob, the switch is in the pot.
i kinda prefer the push pull for the visual aid

Hmmm. Push-push seems promising, then, though I'm concerned by the fact that the only 500K push-push Allparts has is a linear taper...

You can get audio taper 500k push/push pots from these guys. I bought some from them recently, and they do the job fine. I'm not sure if they do long-shaft versions if you want to put them in those positions on a LP though.
