As some know, I am a huge fan of vintage SS amps from the 60s-early 70s. This 1970 SUNN is on of the great examples of heavy tone from an amp never built to make heavy tones. I just get curious and crank em up, if they grind, I buy them. This was not a bad score at 75.00, it does a very solid imitation of my old Sunn Model T that runs a few $ more..... Just a quick demo. master dimed, channel volumes ( Y cable) at 6.

I like to think of them as one act plays. :)

Yep a pedal, I always have in in play, likely with just about every clip I have done. Just forgot to type it in the info

Is that a Weber Mass 200? what do you think of it? i need something to tame my OR120 and first gen model T.

I love my 200, I have had it forever, even survived falling in a bucket of water. Surely there are better, more expensive options these days, but I have zero issues or complaints with it.

That thing sounds sick! Always wanted to try a Sunn... But hard to find them in Europe.

You get all those awesome Brit amps I can never find. Years ago I traded my Ampeg v4 to a guy in London for his Laney Klipp. Both common, and at the time cheap, if you happened to be on the right side of the pond. :)

Yeah you're right kevlar ^^ The Laney ProTube is an other one I'd love to own! British, so maybe easier to find :p
Since I might never find a Sunn Beta Lead, I'm gonna try to build an amp based on it for a school project!

This is simply the unseen area of the dungeon. I have never aimed a camera at the west wall. :)

Back on topic, keep on finding amps like that and I'll never run out of saliva.
