Ok, looking at the brobucker specs I noticed that it has short legs. whats the difference with long legs. Will both fit into a les paul style guitar?

Re: tall legs short legs whats the difference?

It's a little known pup spec that refers to the style of groupie that it attracts. For example -A Pearly Gates is a "tall legs" Texas style tall drink of water babe. Think runway model groupie. In terms of heels though, more likely to be basic high heel pumps. The Brobucker, being short legs, is likely to attract more petite style groupies. However, you can look forward to more stripper type platform high heels. Either way there's some great bottom! And the top end is usually pretty good too. I'm a tall guy and a leg-man, so I tend to go with tall legs pups!

Got it! now everything is as clear as Mississippi mud. I think I will use both tall and short legs just so I have a wider choice of what to take home with me.

Now for a more serious attempt...I believe it refers to the length of the legs that come off of the baseplate. Long ones need "deep cavities" Shot will fit in anything. I'm pretty sure a Paul is capable of long. Strats may require short. The LP pup rings are pretty high anyway. Worst case scenario is you may have to cut the pup springs if they didn't come with appropriate sized ones.

Both will fit LP style guitars. The longer legs don't fit well in other styles though like a strat or PRS.

Long leg pups will not fit in a Strat while mounted to a pickguard. Trust me, I tried. :) They will fit fine if you want to screw them right to the wood though. ;)
