The volume is a bit low, but you know how to fix that

I'm not gonna offer any disclaimers other than watch the whole thing through, and make your mind up yourself. I personally love this piece, even if it is a bit "soft" and I wish I could play like that both melodically, as well as having chops that good :yell:

Does anyone know which Charvel that is and which amp he's using?

Sorry man, I dunno what stuff he is exactly playing but thank you very much for the video. This stuff just rocks :dance:

BTW: You can see, he plays with passion, looks in the air and does not only play 100000 notes in a second. Great melody with some heavy shred runs..cool again :cool3:

i don't know what guitar he's using but i like it.
It's not my style of music but great playing and played with passion. I like this guy.

Check this page out http://s93554373.onlinehome.us/ if you like his playing. Real, real good stuff. There is a very cool Shawn Lane song called Hardcase..wish I could upload it and show it to you because it is a great fusion between a really great rythm groove and a very interesting melody.

Shawn Lane was a major talent. In case you didn't know, unfortunately he died a few years back.

Yeah, I remember reading about it in Guitarist magazine... :/ But it's not until recently that I started checking out his stuff.

Such a shame that he passed away so young. What did he die of?

Awesome playing in the vid. Super melodic and super tasteful. He always reminded me of what Eric Johnson would probably sound like if he was pure shredder.

Guitarist Shawn Lane, who progressed from a teenaged hard-rock star
to a master of world fusion music, has died after a drastic battle with
lung disease. He was forty years old.

In early September 2003 Lane began suffering severe chest pain and
underwent various medical tests while preparing for a new album with
Hellborg and Ginger Baker. He was expected to remain on oxygen for
the remainder of his life, but passed away within a few weeks.
