No less than 9 patents stand guard over your Tone…
it certainly one-ups the Sig-x
power modes are channel assignable
fx loop is channel assignable
graphic eq (2 modes) is channel assignable
reverb is channel assignable
AND, if it really captures all the famous mark tones, what are you guys complaining about? oh noes! too many knobs! what a joke! what a hilarious looking amp! It's 2009. Amps don't have to look like they did 40 years ago anymore. Just because it has all that tweakability (what more could you ask for?) doesn't mean you have to keep tweaking. You can still dial it in, set it and forget it. If you play in all kinds of places it could be your best friend
BUT, if all that circuitry compromises the sound and it sounds like ass, then by all means gripe away
for the price and features, I'm gonna give it a serious look, way more serious than its closest competitor: the Sig-x. And way more serious than that Alchemist thing that got raves before it shipped.
I take it this amp will not have the (((loose))) character of the all mighty Electrics, or Matamps . . .
. . . if not, this is not for me !
Oh well.
