TB-11b with SSL5 neck (500k pot)

Hi,
I have recently bought a TB-11 "custom custom bridge trembucker" for my Kramer-style Strat copy , which sounds nice (and even better at loud volumes:fing2:) . Btw... the guitar is lighter than my American Fender Strat standard. Don´t know what wood it is.

The thing is : to find the sweet spot in my amp (Ashdown peacemaker 60) i had to turn the treble a bit up , but the Lows ( not Mids ) are at about -50% than with my LP and an Alnico 2 pro humbucker!!! The LP sounds a lot treblier in the bridge than this guitar with the TB-11.

Shouldn´t this pickup have a lot of mids instead? Maybe when Duncan refers to mids, they mean Low-mid frequencies... which in my amp may correspond to the Low-frequencies dial.

Anyway, i was thinking in placing a single coil in the neck of this project guitar with only 1 volume pot (push-pull pot will be used for pickup selection). It will use 500k one because of the TB-11.
Is the SSL-5-neck any good for it ? I´d like a true single-coil that has a good bite and will match the TB-11. The place for the coil will still be opened in the guitar cavity. May be the 500k pot will brigthen a little the ssl-5 and make it match the TB-11 ? This is a rock/fusion guitar.

Thanks !
