Hi,

I'm looking for some advising, on how to wire this combination of pickups on my guitars. I play mostly with Strat type guitars:

- FR MIM Strat, with JB bridge , fender SC middle, and Hot Rail neck, 5 position, 1vol, 2 tones 250k pots.

- Jackson Adrian Smith SDX, same pups, only 500k pots, 1 vol, 1 tone.

- FR MIM Strat, Hot Rails bridge, JB Jr. middle, Hot Rails neck, 500k pots 1 vol, 2 tones.

Well, thing is, I think the 250k works better with the bridge JB, than the 500k, as the pickup has enough brightness, on the other side, I think the neck Hot Rails works better with the 500k pots, the Strat with the 250k, the hot rails sounds a bit muddy, I have to always have the tone on full.

Is it possible to wire diferent pot values on the same guitar? a 500k for the neck and middle pups, and 250k for the bridge. How would I do that? What should I use for the vol pot, and for the tone pots?
