TB6 in bridge sounding muddy/muffled

Hello, the TB6 is my charvel is sounding kinda muddy/muffled, like there is something in-between me and the amp thats cutting out the edginess. Im attaching a wiring pic, any idea what it could be? (I realized too late he picture is kind scrappy, sorry). Its measuring at 17kOhm. Cant figure out if there is really something wrong or this is supposed to sound so muffled.

What are you comparing it to? What value is your pot?

Current Fenders and Fender-made Charvels have the bridge pickup like a mile off from the bridge compared to Gibson-style guitars and Gibsons in particular.

It very close to the bridge, the pot should be 500k (but yeah, should measure it). Comparing to a 1993 ESP hybrid with unknown humbucker... =/
 
What about the pole pieces distance from the strings? Are you able to bypass the circuit and wire black (hot) and green+bare to the output jack directly, then retest?
