TC Electronic g Major effects processor?

I am currently looking for an effects processor to run thru my effects loop on my 5150 head that is 1) rack mountable, 2) has, reverb, delay, modulation, and a noise gate on it, and 3) Is of good quality and reliable. From what I have been looking at the TC Electronic g Major seems like a good choice so far, can anyone tell me about this effects processor? I'm trying to keep from buying alot of stomp boxes, I would really just like to have on the floor my wah, and the channel footswitch. Then it would be the effects processor and BBE Sonic Maximizer running into my effects loop. Does anybody out there have any input or advice on what I am trying to accomplish. I would really appreciate it if some of you fellas out there would help guide me in the right direction.

Wouldn't be a bad choice now, they've dropped in price now that the G Major II is out.

Although, every 2nd review on harmony central says that they had some reliability issue with it.

You would also need something to control it as well, whether a midi controller, or if it can take a regular footswitch, I don't know.

I've been using the Rocktron Intellifex for years now in the loop of my 5150, and it does the job nicely, but doesn't have a noise gate, it just gets rid of the preamp hiss.
