They launched everything you can think of: ODs, delay, Reverb, phaser, boost, comp etc

Going affordable and analog sounds like a good move for them to tap into people that would buy the cheap Ehx or Boss, MXR ones. Hopefully it's not just rehoused Behringers.

If the analog delay sounds good, at $50 count me in.

Looks like they already have good demos for all of them so they don't need to send free pedals to Nathan.

Seriously, I got the e-mail, didn't know they were that cheap though, that's a great deal.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

I wonder if the designed of that digital delay is a Jason Newsted fan.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

I just got the email on these this morning. I think I may want to complete my pedal board with these things- especially the Prophet digital delay.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

I can use the Grand Magus and the Prophet for my Chrono Trigger-themed pedal board......

Please let the Fangs be good.

I like the concept. The target is $50 pricerange, this zone is normally covered by stuff like joyo pedals at new prices & maybe boss & mxr sometimes. At the least I'd expect these might be better built than the clones from mooer/donner & bunch.

The design graphics could have been much more disappointing, thankfully they are passable IMO.

Apart from the analog dirt pedals, their mini toneprint pedals have most of the effects covered with the editor app & can do more involved stuff, but their price is 2x these so I'd say for someone buying new on a tight budget might find these accessible.

This makes a lot of sense from a business standpoint, and I love the top jacks.

Except for the digital delay, I think all of these are analog pedals also which will be appealing to some. The prices are great, I could easily build a board out of these and be very happy.

Agreed. I assume the Reverb is digital as well.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

Oh yeah, good catch, I'm sure the reverb is digital.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

The vibrato looks interesting. Too bad the flanger looks to be based on the Boss BF-2. I was hoping for an electric mistress style one.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

I read elsewhere from someone who had a connection at TC (Read: I knew a guy who knew a guy, take it with a grain of salt) that these ARE mostly the Behringer circuits but with better housing, switches and some unnamed 'improvements'. The guy said 11 out of 13 were based on the Behringer stuff and two were original, no exact word on which they are though.

Again, this is word of mouth from someone who is claiming things on the internet, so don't quote this as absolute truth until you hear something from TC or someone tracing circuits.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

Lol, I didn't even know Behringer had bought TC until I went googling just now.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

I forgot they bought them. I hope they keep TC as a high end brand even if they are introducing a budget line if pedals. Even the cheap Chinese clones are better than the Behringer branded pedals.

Re: Tc Electronic launches 13 new pedals for $50 each?!

I didn't know Behringer had bought them either, hmm, so these are probably rehoused Behringer circuits. Kinda sad, I remember when TC was the high end of high end.

Although I guess the saying, if it sounds good, it is good still applies. I had a Behringer mixer when they first came out and it worked great, sounded great, and I never had a problem with it.

My Behringer mixer sounded awful. I sold it and later bought a Mackie that was also an inexpensive MIC piece that happened to sound a lot better.

Everything else about the Behringer mixer was fine.

I like the products I've heard from Behringer.
