TC Electronic Sentry vs ISP Decimator 2

So I have a Decimator 1 with a footswitch that sometimes turns on, and sometimes it doesn't.

I want to replace it. I'm not really satisfied with how the Decimator 1 sounds. It works flawlessly as a gate, but it's not 100% transparent-sounding. I'll post a clip/pic of how the recorded waveform sounds/looks with it in the chain, but I'm completely convinced it does something to the tone.

Is the Decimator 2 better in that regard? Or am I better off with the Sentry?

I'd really like the Fortin Zuul, but it's outside of my budget.
