Tc Electronics Flashback

Hello all,
I picked this up to basically complete my new collection( yeah right LOL) of TC Electronics single pedals. I was using a Boss DD-7 which by the way is an amazing Delay pedal.
I wanted the Flashback for 3 reasons 1- to remove the Buffer that the DD-7 automatically adds and 2 - to have all TC pedals. Yeah mental I know but thats how I roll. I like things a certain way and I'm really having fun trying out all the TC single pedals. 3 - To try out the Delay tone prints which I still think is very cool technology.

On a short review side, the Flashback is awesome. It has many of the same sounds as the DD-7. I don't think I took a step backwards by adding the Flashback to my signal chain. Sound quality wise it's a tuff call which one is better. The Boss Delay pedals in general are some of the Industries best. Hard to beat those pedals, all of them no matter what you decide to spend. On that note they are both priced about the same.
The Toneprints are very cool. I like the idea of just beaming some settings and there your ready to go. I'm one to really dig into my settings but the Toneprint thing is so cool why not at least give them a go.

Here is a pic of the current board

Fantastic pedal. Get the Toneprint Editor and build your own, you won't look back!

The Toneprint editor is remarkable. I think you will have fun making up your own sounds.

I have the alter ego version. I just wish they let you edit the factory models and save them back to the TP slot.

I was just dialing it in by hand last night trying out all the different Delays. Man the more I play with it the more I'm loving it. I downloaded a few remade Toneprints from the app and they are fun. I plan on connecting to the editor and going wild.

Agreed, If you haven't noticed, I basically have all TC electronics pedal now. The Tone Print feature IMO is a total game changer and to me sets all TC's pedal apart for all others.
I'm a long time BOSS user and love their sound. Boss could learn a few thing from TC not to say Boss pedals don't sound great, I just feel TC is slighty ahead of them and Tone Print is a huge factor in that opinion.
