TC Electronics G major/midi question

hi everyone

i have a huge problem with the tc electronics and my midi expresion pedals (behringer fcb1010)... when i set the midi board time ago, i didn´t care for the expresion and volume pedals that the pedalboard had, i only wanted it for the 10 banks and the price. But lately i have been wanting to do something with them i have realized that they are useless! ... i check out the tc electronics preferences and found some thing where it makes the control of the midi over the multiefects routes digital or analog, when i turn to digital it happens that the volume of the amp goes down and i can´t hear anything, even if i turn the volume to 8 (i have a 6505 plus, i can´t put the volume up to 5 btw) i don´t hear a thing... i did make also the board midi config that the tc electronics has to control both expresion pedals, but, its the same, i can´t use them...

someone with both gmajor/behringer has been in the same situation? can you give me a clue of what to do?

and if not, which board without expresion pedals is able to atach one at least and has a good construction quality?

thanks a lot in advance

Re: TC Electronics G major/midi question

few things- post this question to the FCB Yahoo group...someone there will help as well.
What firmware does the FCB have (you have to open it to find out, or use one of the free PC editors at the Yahoo group)? Some versions of the firmware are extremely buggy, and it is useless to continue programming if you have one.
The FCBs exp pedals are far from useless...like any midi pedal, they need to be calibrated (make sure you do this!) and the pedal needs to be programmed properly...the FCB GMajor combo is really powerful, and it can do a lot more than patch changes and volume sweeps, so make sure you understand the midi terms and what the FCB can do.

Re: TC Electronics G major/midi question

thanks for the forum at yahoo, i´m aking them anytime soon... that beeing said, the pedalboard has 1 month, so it should have the latest firmware shouldn´t it?
and i did the pedalboard setup with the g major, i recon that i haven´t read anything from the manual, but i haven´t do this because i went quickly with the g major channel changes and didn´t care for anything else...

thanks for the reply dude

Re: TC Electronics G major/midi question

I forget exactly how to do it, but you first have to calibrate the expression pedals to go from 1 to 127 in midi velocity, then you have to go into the G-Major and select an expression pedal thing, it has an option to "learn" - you hit 'learn' and rock the pedal back and forth, and it recognizes the pedal and it's sweep.
