Tele bridge pup to go with Gibby mini-hum

I have THIS

it's a recent Squier Standard Tele, with an 80's MIK Bullet neck, and a Gibson mini-hum in the neck position. Currently it has a SD "Little 59" in the bridge (When I bought it, I was told it was a "JB-Jr", but googling the numbers on the bottom says it's a L59)
Anyway I really, really like the neck mini. The bridge pup... not so much. It just sounds, meh to me- Not enough of anything, for me to say "it needs more of XXXX" or "less XXXX", if that helps... My other Tele, I never used the bridge (too shrill, and less than half the output of the neck HB it had)
My current set-up, they seem to have similar output (toggling between them there's no volume loss) but 99% of the time I just don't like the sound, and go back to middle or neck-only. WHat other Tele bridge pups can you reccomend? I really want to keep the mini in the neck.
Oh yeah, I play classic-rock, modern-ish rock (just guitar-y stuff, not chugga-chugga downtuned metal), I don't need (or want) TWANG from the guitar.
Oh yeah, it's got 500K pots and a 3-way, so standard "HB Tele" type wiring, if that matters.

I know this is a super-subjective question, kinda like "what food do you like", But I don't wanna go buy 14 different pups before I figure out what I want. So thank you, in advance!

If you want to rock a thick sounding single coil, the Quarter Pound in the bridge does well. That pickup was a real eye opener for me as a rocker years ago.

Love the neck mini!

Lil 59 for tele. Check out Rob chapmans vids on YouTube. He's got a siggie tele with one and it sounds awesome

Jerry Donahue model. Some more thickness than a stock Tele bridge, but way more character than any humbucker. Not sure what you like to play, but the JD will have a good degree of flexibility for most lighter musical styles.

They're made by Artec, I have some of their pups in other guitars and they're OK for being so cheap.

It's not quite the same, but I have a SM-1n Firebird pup in my Tele paired with a STK-T2b Hot Stack. Bridge position sounds somewhere between a fat Tele sound and a hot PAF.

That Tele looks great, and I'll give the Hotstack a look. I have some in a fake Strat, and didn't even think about those in this Tele...THank you.

If I remember correctly you live in WI, but work in St. Paul? If you want to play my Tele, shoot me a PM and maybe we can work something out in the next few days. I typically finish work around 1pm on Fridays, so I have all of tomorrow afternoon relatively open.

I really like the stl2 hot tele for higher output but still distinctly tele-ish tones

That's a really nice pup. Had one in the bridge of a Tele for a few years. In series it has a cool bright punch, but not thin. I also had a push pull pot wired to switch it to parallel, gave a nice usable generic Tele sound.

A tech at DMZ advised against splitting for true single coil unless I wanted a super glassy sound.

Sounds good. I totally understand the whole D-day approaching thing. Mo ended up being two days late, and then all of the hectic for the first few weeks after.

The offer stands whenever you have some free time. Friday is probably the best day of the week, but weekends work too. I wish you and your family the best; maybe try and get a little extra sleep when you get the chance ;-)
