So, I decided out of nowhere that I wanted to do what lew did and switch my strat over to a strat neck/tele bridge (no middle pickup) setup, non-rw/rp.
Neck will be a strabro 90 like the title says.
I'd like a production model as I don't have the funds right now for a custom shop model (unless they'll let me exchange my strabro 90 for a telebro 90 or something). I was thinking the "hot for tele" because I still want to be able to cop a vintage tele vibe in addition to having a hotter output to match with the strabro 90 when it's at full output.
Any other suggestions? Different brands maybe? Guitar is an old highway 1 strat with an alder body and maple neck. Bridge has a callaham block and 3 brass saddles under the plain strings.
Edit: The pickup must have 2 output levels just like the neck pickup that I'm using.
