tele pickup choice

Have thinline i am building which is ready for pickups and am wondering about what to use.
I really like the broadcaster / vintage neck combo but as it is a thinline with a bottom chamber, I have no way of sheilding the control cavity properly.

My question is how does the vintage stack set compare to the broadcaster /vintage set in tone??

Obviously no-one here uses a tele so i guess i will ask the question on the telecaster forum.
