Tele Pup in SG?

Is is possible to put the Vintage Stack (stk3b) that is meant for a Tele in the neck position of a SG? I like the way it sounds but I don't know if I'm going to run into problems with pole pieces lining up and all that stuff.

I'm really trying to get my SG to have more of that extra clean chimey bell tone like you can get from Strats and Teles. Another term I've heard used here is "quack".

Right now I've got a Distortion in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck. I'm fine on the bridge position stuff, but I feel like I could be getting better tones out of a pickup that is actually meant for this kinda thing rather than splitting the Jazz or putting it into parallel.

I don't know if it would work, but you could put a duncan SH-3 Stag Mag in there. When split, it's supposed to sound almost exactly like a strat pickup.

Get one of those conversion rings from stew mac that allow you to install a single coil.

I did this once with a conversion frame with a Twangbanger in the bridge position of my now gone SG standard.
