Tele with Mini in neck

I'm wanting to put a SM-1 mini hum in the neck of my Tele as I have a pickguard cut out for one. What do you all think would be a good bridge compliment to it. Thanks

im putting 2 sm3s in my tele that i have routed for minis...the sm3 is meant to be an awesome combo with a sm1n....but i dont know if that would fit your tele...let us know how it is routed

SM-3 for sure, if you're going to use a minibucker.

My MIM Telecaster is routed for anything. I had a P90 in it before which fit without any problem. So fitting a mini humbucker shouldn't be an issue. Just wondering what to pair it with in the bridge.

i would stick with another mini bucker and with a sm-1 in the neck a sm-2 could work in the bridge but the sm-3 is where the gold is from what i have read

if it was me i would put a jd tele bridge pup in there. nice fat tele tones that still sound like a tele

personally i am not a huge fan of the way a tele sounds...but i love the way it looks...which i why i would stick with another mini bucker. but yeah, if you wanna retaini the tele vibe then listen to jeremy, whatever he says is usually dead on the mark in my limited experience on this board

im not a big fan of the bright twangy tele tone. i like a fat wide sound that punches you in the gut. the jd isnt whimpy. not as nice as the custom shop alnico II tapped tele lead but half the price.

the bridge will dictate what pup xstonr can use. if its a standard tele bridge then he'll need to use a tele pup.
