Just installed a telecaster antiquity I 1955 model in the bridge lead position. I have a 1995 american standard tele with the stock Fender neck pup still in it. Swapped the lead pup out for the antiquity and everything sounds great except the middle position sounds out of phase. It's about half volume compared to the neck and bridge pups. Are the SD pups wound differently than the fenders. Any suggestion on how to fix the middle position without obviously replacing the neck pup to a Seymour? Can I simply reverse the leads on one of the pups? Which one should I do the bridge or neck? I have heard that if you swap the neck leads that you need to also switch the neck ground to the cover? On my neck pup I only have one wire that comes from the pup. The wire is white with silver shielding braided over it. I assume the silver shielding is the ground and the white is the hot lead. I do not see any other wires attached to the neck cover. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!!!
