Telecaster bridge on a Stratocaster? worthwhile? how difficult?

Lewguitar turned me on to a Stratocaster pickup in a Telecaster neck position. went and bougjt my first telecaster and put a SSL-1 in the neck, sounds great. to me a Telecaster is a block of ash with a little half circle cut out and a neck bolted on. it weighs almost as much as a les Paul and is not as comfortable to play as a Stratocaster. don't mean to insult Mr. Fender or any telecaster fans but that format just doesn't work so well for me.
So, after all that preamble what maybe would work for me is to put a Telecaster bridge on a Stratocaster, have an s-500 that is my third string strat style. It will be a pretty big job I expect so would like some advice as to whether it is worthwhile and just how tricky is it?

One thing I do with nearly all of my guitar builds (including Tele types) is cut a Strat type belly relief and forearm relief. That makes any guitat nearly as comfortable to play as a Strat. Some of them are even MORE comfy.

I was thinking of doing either the hybrid body or getting a Nashville Tele with the tummy cut and forearm curve.

At least one of Sonny Landreth's Strats has a Tele bridge. I have a Peavey Strat copy I've considered seeing up like that.

I like the forearm and belly carves on a Tele, and I like putting a Strat's switch and knobs on a Tele in a more ergonomic place. Is it a Tele anymore? I don't know, but I am more likely to play it.

Seems illogical, but i prefer the shape of the tele with no cuts for comfort over the strat. Weird i know, but i know I'm not the only one.

I agree, sort of. I'm not much of a traditionalist with anything, but about the only Tele departures I'm into are a neck 'bucker, or the Brent Mason setup. Definitely no forearm or gut-cuts. Overall, I'd rather have a Strat, though.
