Telecaster bridge plate

Is there something that I could buy to cover the bridge pickup of a telecaster? I wanna use my Hipshot trem bridge on a tele, but I still want the bridge pickup covered. All I could find was this image.

Not sure but a '52 Fender Bass pickup cover is rectangle like that and might fit over it while allowing the strings to pass through. Take good measurements and check before buying/drilling.

By "cover the bridge pickup" I assume you mean a mounting ring like your picture not actually a cover.

yeah, im a little confused. do you want the mounting ring like you have pictured or you want an ash tray bridge cover?

I bought a partscaster a while back that came to me with a glendale "tone ring" and a 2 point strat trem

they make these plates out of cold rolled steel

Can't speak to how the sound wound vary with or without the plate from direct experience, as I haven't pulled it off and experimented....but it definitely is a great sounding guitar!
Have it loaded with a custom shop broadcaster pickup and it sounds stellar!
