Telecaster Pickup trouble

so I took out the vintage stack from the neck of my tele, which has a hot stack in the bridge, and sold it to a friend becasue I am going to go a completley different direction (lil59/lil59). The problem is, I swaped in the stock neck Pickup and it seems I am having a single coil hum in the the middle position. should this be here or am i asking a stupid question. Its been a while since I had true single coils in a guitar.

yep the regular single neck posision and an hum-cancling bridge will hum in middle posistion.

I love it tone is very similar but has a little more mids than the stock wich = more balls and if you want the traditional tones, I just turn down the volume a bit and sounds great IMO
