I recently purchased a Seymour Duncan Custom Shop 53 Tapped Tele bridge pickup (sounds amazing BTW) for my Fender Custom Shop '67 Telecaster and had a local shop install it while having other work done on the guitar. I then decided to purchase a deeper-sounding neck pickup (a Klein Broadcaster) to go with it, and I installed it today. The pickups individually sound incredible, but together they now sound awful. When I had the Tapped Tele bridge PU and the stock Fender Custom Shop neck PU, the 2 and 4 positions on the 5-way switch were hum-canceling (this wasn't the case with the original bridge PU), but those positions still sounded great. Now with the new neck PU, those positions have very low output, sound very thin, and sound extremely nasal-y. I know that I installed the new neck PU properly, and all my solder joints are good. I don't know enough about pickups to fully understand what's going on here or how to solve it, but I think the pickups are RWRP. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? I just want positions 2 and 4 on the 5-way switch to have full output and a non-nasal-y sound. Thanks!
