Hey everyone! I have an idea for my Standard Telecaster, and i'm wondering how i can get from here to there.....
I have an 03 Standard Mexican Telecaster thats totally stock, and all i want this guitar to have "under the hood" is just a bridge pickup with moderate to high output, a single volume knob and the output jack. Fender made an "Esquire GT" with this same wiring setup, but all i need to know is, how do you wire a guitar that way. I'm not really interested in push/pull switches, tapped pickups, or split coil setups or anything. I just wanna get one of these higher output pickups (little 59 or hot rails maybe) and wire it straight to the volume and output jack. Anyone know how to do this??
