The best amp I've ever played and own...

The Elmwood Modena M60! It just kills! Got it the other week and played my first gig with it Saturday night and all I can say is wow! I've owned quite a few amps that were stock and modified but this one takes it, sweet.
Distorted, thick, clear, articulate and sweet midrange...didn't think it existed.
Had a few friends play thru my rig as it turned into a jam after the gig and they all loved it. The guys with the single coils couldn't believe how thick the tone was. If you ever have the chance to try one out....takes a little tweaking but once you find the sweet spots it great.

the utoob clips Ive heard and word of mouth have been great for Elmwoods.. Too bad I cant find anyone near me that carries them..

Would be ironic for me to own that brand as the name of my high school was Elmwood.. And I hated that place..

I would just be stupid to sell this amp...if you need a versatile channel switcher...this does it. Great cleans, semi-dirty, crunch and liquid leads. Also has a great parallel\series adjustable loop. EQ is very responsive. Its pricey but like the vender told me, its just money...yeah right...:friday:

Worst thing I ever did was sell my Elmwood.

Fantastic amp.

Congrats :friday:

They've always gotten such great reviews. It seems most players prefer clean only amps and use pedals for their overdrive, but with amps like Bogners or Elmwoods, you can get all those shades from the amp itself and IMHO, it sounds better that way in most cases.
