hey sorry if this has been posted before but i couldnt find it when searching

whats the best humbucker to put in the neck of a mahogany body guitar that will make my electric sound the most like an acoustic guitar.

Ive used the Dimarzio Humbucker From Hell, and the SD Jazz, both of them did a great job .. but i was just wondering if maybe there is one that is even better for making my axe sound like an acoustic.

Please also let me know if you know what you know from EXPERIENCE or by just reading or hearing word from someone.

I know alot of amps have acoustic simulators, but i still wanna know what makes a normal clean amp sound the most like im using an acoustic guitar.

Thanks

I have a recommendation, but it's not a Duncan. I would give the Bill Lawrence L500C a go in the neck. Very clear articluate and has some warmth the would be desirable for an acoustic simulation.

I don't recommend anything I haven't used or used currently. That's a good way to make yourself look like an @$$

On your amp go full bass and treble and no mids for the most acoustic sound. I read it somewhere and it seems about to me. I think humbuckers are definitely the way to go as well. It's a fuller sound not so glassy. Give it a try see what you think.
