The Blues Saraceno Trembucker Appreciation Thread....

Just wanted to give all of us guys that have Saraceno Trembuckers a chance to brag about how great they are. I have had mine now since the spring, due to the recommendations from this board, and I still think it is a killer pickup that is way overlooked. Very similar in tone to my Hybrid Custom/'59, but a tad bit brighter (to my ears at least). Awesome for pinch harmonics, very warm, very responsive. Just an all around killer pickup.

Definitely a pickup that should be checked out.

Interesting that you compare it to the 59/Custom Hybrid... when I tried the "Blues" I thought it sounded great with an even frequency response... similar to the EVH, but a little sterile.
The Hybrid has that same even frequency response, but kicks it up a notch with the killer harmonics and a quality I can only describe as "strength"

yep,got one in my '91 ibanez rg565 and it's probably THE best bridge pup i've tried from the duncan line.tight, crunchy, clear, great bottom end, rounded highs, good low-mid grind, sings nicely AND great pinch harmonics! ...highly overlooked and underrated-period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's my absolute favorite Duncan bridge humbucker

Overlooked? Hm: perhaps the name is too difficult? I know what "Blues" is, but what does "Saraceno" stand for?

Now, that´s a weird name for a good pick-up (this comment can only be understood by Swedes).
