The Broadcaster Blend Circuit

Thinking about converting my Broadcaster to the original blend wiring. I know there would be no tone control. I use my tone control some but not all that much. I also know that no tone control makes guitars brighter. For you guys who have gone to the blend circuit, what are your thoughts?

The Fender wiring that came with my Broadcaster looks pretty complex; while the wiring from the Seymour Duncan site, looks much simpler.

I prefer it. I only used the tone on the bridge if I needed to get into humbucker territory sound-wise.

Diagrams look the same to me, just the Duncan one is using opposite sides of the switch for the same thing.

The Fender diagram has the wiring actually going through the eyelets instead of just the lugs. Maybe it's just me, but the Fender diagram looks much more complex. Funny though, When I got my Broadcaster, it came with an envelope labeled "Telecaster Electronic Parts Kit". Everything needed to convert to the blend wiring. Know what was in the envelope?????

Yeah, that's all it would take to convert, parts-wise. When I did it, I even dispensed with the resistor. I did a wiring where I could have all the Broadcaster/Esquire/Telecaster tone options in one guitar (because I just wanted to hear them at first), but it turned out very useful.
