The duncan INVADER?

Re: The duncan INVADER?

The Invader is a mega-beefy, wall-flattening pickup with all the bass chunk and chugga you could ever want, and then some. A lot of high-ouput pickups are upper mid-screamers (like Gibson's 500T) whereas the Invader rumbles and roars.

If your guitar is tonally on the dark side, it's a bad match -- will be muddy. But if it's a little too thin and bright for your tastes, the Invader is the cure...

it would be tried out in a fender alder lone star strat(H/S/S) with a all maple neck(fingerboard)
it has a regular fender trem

Re: The duncan INVADER?

If you're a metalhead, maple board Strats in general are a good candidate for the Invader.

Re: The duncan INVADER?

The Invader is beefy, dark, powerful, no doubt. But it also has pinch harmonics and overtones, very lively.
